What a joy & blessing it is to team up with my sweet friend Lisa & participate in the 3-Day Walk. It's going to take a lot of time to get ready for this, but I'm so excited to be a part of it. I'll be walking in honor of my aunt, Linda Clayton, a breast cancer conqueror, who I love very much! I'll also be walking in honor of a church family member, Beverly Easley, wife & home school mother of EIGHT children, one of whom is my daughter's best friend. Beverly is fighting an incredible fight & even though the doctors in the area have told her they've done all they can do, she is blessed to be leaving for MD Anderson in Houston, TX in a couple of weeks to begin treatment there.
Keep the Easley family in your prayers as they have a long journey ahead of them. For those who are fortunate to have never been affected personally by breast cancer, as well as those who have, please reach deep into your pockets & give to this wonderful foundation.
