There is just something about Lisa Littell (aka Lisalambsammich). Every time I am in her presence, it lights up something inside of me- a connection of souls. A friendship. A sisterhood. She is one of those very few people that you truly know you can trust, love, and depend on. If you are fortunate enough to have her friendship, she is someone you can share you deepest secrets with and look up at her and know that she still loves you and thinks the world of you. It has been a rarity in my life to find such people. What a blessing she is to me!

I had a good friend do the 3-Day back in 2008. Although I was completely blown away by her dedication, I never had a thought of doing the Walk myself. When Lisa sent out the email about building a team, something deep inside me was inspired. I don't even think I finished reading the email before responding to say, "I'm in!"

Lisa, our friendship is so special to me and it absolutely floors me to think of how far we have come. I am laughing and shaking my head right now just thinking about all we have been through over the past several years. It makes me appreciate the wonderful woman that you are and I am honored to have you in my life as a friend and a soul sister. I love you so much and I am glad to call you my Team Captain.

I am doing this walk in honor of Carol Barnett and memory of my Grandmother, Edith Blanton.

Tracy and Gigi, I cannot wait to meet you both.
